The Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management has been recognised by the National Youth/Students Enterprise Group for its s outstanding entrepreneurship development and innovation.
In a release, the institution noted that the recognition of its contributions towards the advancement of entrepreneurship in Nigeria was a testament for being a reliable and purposeful institution with a passion for entrepreneurship development among Nigerian students.
The award presentation took place recently on the school campus in Redemption Camp, Mowe, Ogun State.
NASEG is the umbrella body of students in tertiary institutions pursuing degrees in Entrepreneurship.
The association also represents youth who are entrepreneurship-inclined in Nigeria.
The National President of NASEG, Abdulkareem Soetan, said, RECTEM was singled out for the award for its commitment and promotion of entrepreneurship and skill development.
Represented by National Vice President, Special Duties, NASEG, Oladimeji Ajibola, Soetan said, “In all ramifications, this honour is in recognition of the passion for youth and students’ developmental projects at all times, the concern for youth development and the nation at large.
“The leadership of National Youth and Students Enterprise Group in Nigeria has found a worthy entrepreneurship-based college, worthy for all institutions in Nigeria to emulate; spiced with innovation and a good management team that believes in youth capacity development and empowerment.
“This college has proven beyond doubt that the destiny of Nigerian students is still very bright with skills acquisition. The college we are talking about is no other than Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management.”
