I don't believe so, but it is recommended to use the default points system, especially since you arent even updating from an outdated system like ipoints. Instead of having to change the points system, I would recommend you ask the authors of the arcade app to integrate with the ibEconomy points system. That seems like a reasonable request considering ibEconomy is the number one points app.
