Could you upload 1.3 version on 4ex. invisionmodding? For users with inactive technical support?

Awesome, I really love this. I have one ask, is it possible to show the blank items in topic view under the profile information. I am currently using the Awards Management for this, but it was more fun when members could buy these with points. Or maybe there is a way to add the awards into the shop?

But, for now if I could have the blank shop items show in topic view and possibly on profile view, that would be awesome.

I think an old IBstore had a feature called ribbons, but that mod was never brought into the new 3.x age.

Thanks for creating this! :D

Thanks, glad you like the app!

Funny you should mention that, i just got done with the Profile tab last night and it will be in the next version. It will show the last 10 items purchased in the main table, and the last 10 actions done in the sidebar table. :)

You know, I had thought about that a while ago, but you just reminded me, I'll check out Peaderfis Award Management and look into integrating it with ibEconomy. With 1.3 I integrated with SOS Vip Members, and that was painless enough. And so many people want to display icons in the post view, so instead of just copying what he did, I could create a shop item that would allow members to purchase an award of your choosing. So the best of both worlds. :)

Hmm, good suggestion with that first one. I'll add to my list. :)

The second one has been requested before, and is already on my list. :)

Alright sounds good, and i know this probably would take alot of coding, is there anyway like under my portfolio ---> intergrat a referral system, where in this section a user gets a unique link and each time a user signs up from his link the user gets a certain amount of credits?

Referral system has also bren requested a lot, and yes, it would involve plenty of time to create. IP Nexus is has a referral system so I may hook into that, but it would be wasteful to spend all that time creating something that is already done in Nexus.

But nexus is mainly for people who want to sell items for cash on their forum, what about the standard user's who have stores with credits and don't want nexus and what incentives for people to refer people to the site :)

Yeah, I suppose. Anyways, it's always been on my list, but its pretty far back. If the author of Ultimate Referrals or anyone else creates one, I could integrate with it, if not, then perhaps I would create one.

On a semi-related subject, I just added a donate Custom Sidebar Block, maybe that will be the source of some "inspiration", lol.

Perfect time to add it here to test, so I've added a Forum->Registrations to our economy, and I'll go purchase one now. I have my settings set to run the task every 15 minutes, but the stock adjustment setting set to once per day. So hopefully in a few days we'll see a change from the initial 100 bucks.

It does take three times as long as normal to "initialize" a non-random stock (so the first value changes will take 3 times what it will take after that first change). Because first it gathers data as a "base line" and saves that in the database. Then on the next cycle it will run the new data collection and compare it to the previous one. Then it does it again a third time and its at that point that there is 2 data points to compare. If there is an increase, the share increases, if a decrease, the share decreases in value. I set the stock here to 10%

edit: I added a sidebar block to the app and the index so we can keep a close eye on it.
K, the value changed from 100 to 92 overnight. I was keeping track of the database over the past 5 days and it seemed to do everything it is designed to do. Although i was a bit off in the post above, it takes 4 or 5 cycles before the stock will change. At each cycle:

  • Initial calculation
  • Second calculation, first comparison
  • Third calculation, second comparison, records the difference
  • Fourth calculation, third comparison, second difference recorded, compare current difference to previous difference, adjust stock value accordingly.

So if you have your stock cycle setting set to run once per day, then you are looking at a minimum of 4 days after you add the stock before it actually changes value.

But then after that first change, it should have all the data necessary to change at every cycle from then on out. Keep an eye on the stock here, you'll probably see it go down by tomorrow morning, since I doubt well have too many new registrations today.

Overnight the value increased a few points, which reflects the member or 2 who registered since the previous cycle.

oh gotcha, nice.

Btw is there anyway you could set it up, so you can reward decimal's per post..

Example: give .25 credits per post so 4 post = 1 credit..

Currently you have to enter 1 or greater.

1 point isn't small enough for a post?

I originally set up the new forum database fields for integers since that uses less memory than decimals, and i figured 1 point was low enough, but perhaps I'll adjust that in a future version since you are the second person to request it.

I haven't read through all the posts, but is there a way to give points to a user group upon registration so I don't have to keep manually doing it for each person?
