Complete Points, Shop, Investment, Lottery System

Version 2.0

This version REQUIRES IPB 3.2. For earlier please use ibEconomy 1.5.1.

Features: (any of which can be disabled)

• Shop Items (~30 items so far... I'm open to suggestions for new ones)

• Shopping cart and checkout system

• Points Per Topic/Reply/Reply-in-own-topic

• Points Per Rep (negative/positive receiver/giver)

• Banks (savings/checking)

• Numbers Based Lottery system

• Stocks (based on actual things like member posting/registrations or random)

• Credit-Cards

• Long-Term Investments (IRA, 401K, etc)

• Custom Sidebar Blocks (richest members, stock ticker, etc)

• Point loans

• Welfare system

• Donations system

• Send Item to Other Members

• Transactions/logs

• Personalized public settings page per member

• Global ibEconomy announcement

• ibEconomy profile page per member

Hooks/Other features:

• NO FILE EDITS! (hooks or application) (NOW even with other point systems!)

• Duplicate app's sidebar blocks on board index

• Display member's point total, clickable to view stats and donate (from topics and PMs)

• Profile point total

• Donate from topics/PMs DIRECTLY via popup balloon

• Profile donate link

• EVERYTHING can be turned off (well... anything that makes sense to turn off)

• Drag and Drop sorting (EVERYWHERE)

• View/Buy/Trade/etc permissions via built-in IPB permission masks

• Name "points" anything you want, everywhere

• Also can integrate with any other points system (if yours isn't list, let me know and I'll add it)

• Group MAX perms for most everything

• One-Click Purchase (with setting to enable/disable/show-only)

• Setting to disable the use of decimals and cents, for the more "simple" ibEconomy install (with round-up/round-down/nearest setting)

• Show points/donate button on post view either in bottom of post sidebar or as button which sits flush with the other post buttons for pretty integration

• Custom images per item

• Edit member points directly from their board profile (with accompanying group setting)

• Profile Tab to display recent purchases and recent non-purchase transactions

• Custom Item Images! Admins have the option of overriding the default item icons with their own images for shop categories, shop items, banks, ccs, stocks, long-terms. Thumbs of the new images will display when shopping, in portfolio, cart, etc. Large image will display on the item's info balloon popup. Hello emoney installed on my forum until ai okay,
time to create something he's IPS Drive Error,
reinstalled 3 times and the error
persists at the time of creation of Items.

I'm guessing you may have the unfixed version 1.2 (the driver error would occur when trying to upload an image for an item). So redownload from IPS now and reupload all the files, then go uninstall ibEconomy from Manage Applications, then once it is deleted, install it again. then you should be fine.

If you downloaded the 1.2 anytime recently, then perhaps its a different error. In that case, do this: http://emoneycodes.c...s-driver-error/

nice modification...I am currently running iPoints by Calypso...but have had some issues with it. How does this compare to his?

That sounds like a REALLY old error, did you download a legit copy and the latest one? If not, go grab 1.2 from the IPS link above and upgrade. If you are running 1.2, then tell me more details (like where it happens).

Compared to iPoint this app is much larger and has many more features and 0 file/skin edits, etc. For instance, instead of editing in the Points html row for posts there is a button that shows below the post (as seen in the top screenshot) that will display the post author's current points and upon click a Donate button pops up. And most of the non-standard features (stocks, banks, welfare, etc) can all be turned off in case you want a simpler install.

hmm, I can't replicate. Try recaching ibEconomy from ACP->ibEconomy. If that doesn't do the trick, PM me login details of a test account or something, with enough points for me to try buying a bank, and your board url. I'll see if I can tell from the html.

No, there is no tool for that, but good idea, I'll add it to my list for future upgrades.

I know you are coming from iPoints so if your concern is how to transfer your members old points into ibEconomy points then there IS a tool for that, from the frontpage of ibEconomy.

the points are not showing in the mini profile...am I doing something wrong?

What do you mean mini profile?

If you mean the little popup balloon next to display names, that actually isn't one of ibEconomy's features. Points show in posts, PMs, profiles, but not the member popup. I can add that to my list of possible upgrades if thats what you meant, and you think users would find it useful.

mini profile = small area on side of post that has member info and avatar.

the points are not showing anywhere except in the menu link at the top along the header
