Today I went to Freebirds to get a 5 dollar salad while the 5 dollar salad summer deal days are still on, and all was going smoothly enough, until I tried to start the car to leave. I thought, oh great, my old 1998 Honda Accord has finally bit the bullet, finally dunked the donkey, finally egged the old house, but instead of walking across the hwy to CarMax to get a new car, I decided to call my insurance. I think I remember my mom telling me, a few years ago when she finally stopped paying for my car insurance, not to be cheap and to pay for the road side assistance. So I call the line and go back inside to eat the salad. Turns out the guy only gave me the tiny plastic container of dressing, in place of the normal size, but I had bigger problems.
Sure enough, the woman on the phone told me both a road-side check AND a tow would both be free. And 15 minutes later, a guy shows up with a battery charger and my car is running in seconds. So, a battery, not an engine, not bad I thought. I drove to Autozone and paid for a new battery and the crisis was averted.
Speaking of crises, I'm pretty stoked that the XML schema chosen for the remaining 2 CS 373 projects was none other than my group's, Group E, The Groupies.
Not exactly sure how much time that will save us, but it's cool nonetheless. And our the next project is due in a week! Already! Anyways, I can't wait to get started. I'll keep you posted!
